G1 Therapeutics is seeking an experienced hands-on Sr. IT Help Desk Analyst to join the Information Technology team.



  • Support/perform day-to-day IT infrastructure operations tasks including computer operations, user account management, technical support, network systems analysis, telecommunications, Help Desk, office relocations and IT desktop training. 
  • Support/perform the delivery of desktop, laboratory and network IT systems and services in a pharmaceutical regulated environment. 
  • Provide desktop support G1 corporate applications including Office 365, Adobe, Box, Veeva

 Service DeskDesktop

  • Support, monitor, test, and troubleshoot issues pertaining to computer systems for G1.
  • Perform all tasks associated with installation of equipment to include but not limited to PC, printers, desktop VOIP and cell phones, and office hardware.
  • Install, troubleshoot, update, and maintain desktop software including Windows 10, Office 365, Adobe, and other local and local/SaaS business applications.
  • Provide Tier 1/2 Help Desk customer service support for the site. Triage Tier 2 and Tier 3 issues to IT service and support vendors as required. May require evening or night calls.
  • Schedules repairs, installs and configures desktop/network hardware as required.
  • Moves IT systems and peripherals for office relocations.
  • Set up, initiate, and shutdown video conferences as needed.
  • Follow/author approved standard operating procedures and meet SLAs.

 Network Infrastructure

  • Assist in managing Manage G1 domain and user accounts for internal and external IT infrastructure services including AD, Office 365, Adobe, Exchange, AV, VPN, 2FA, web/video conferencing, etc. Provision, modify and deactivate user network and systems accounts to company standards.
  • Assist in monitoring infrastructure activity.


  • AS or BS degree and 3 years work experience in desktop systems support, or high school degree with equivalent work experience
  • 1 year of experience successfully supporting systems and services in FDA regulated environments
  • A+, MCDST, Microsoft or other Cisco certifications highly desired
  • Candidate must have excellent written and oral communication skills and a customer satisfaction attitude
  • Must have great attention to detail and ability to follow detail processes
  • Experience supporting remote staff including domestic and international travel
  • Must enjoy working with end users and providing excellent customer service
  • Required experience with operating systems ranging from Windows desktop / laptop / virtual workstation as well as support of local and network printers moving IT systems and peripherals for office relocations, and sets up, initiates, and shutdowns video conferences between two or more sites
